Car Purchase: General Motors' Generous Give-Away

From April 11 through May 31 General Motors will give away 1,000 new
vehicles and offer $1,000 cash back on any new car and truck purchases!
This is a revival of its "Hot Button" marketing blitz of year 2004.

GM's Showroom visitors across the U.S. will have the opportunity to win
one of 58 different models of cars by pushing the OnStar "Hot Button" in
certain designated vehicles. Last year, this same campaign drew almost
two million people to dealerships.

This year General Motors has sold 5% fewer cars and trucks in the United
States during the first quarter than it did last year. So, in GM's latest
attempt to spur sales, this year they are adding the lucrative offer of
$1,000 cash on the hood of already discounted 2004 and 2005 models.

General Motors, the world's biggest automaker, thus is expecting even
more visitors this year to their dealerships across the country.
